President

Joe Jenkins, JPI’s founding President, has extensive experience in strategic planning, operations management and management consulting in the federal and corporate sectors.  He has managed public and private sector work in the US, Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East.  Joe holds an MBA degree in International Business from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University and has completed executive leadership training at JHU as well.

Vice President

Paula Dressel, JPI’s founding Vice President, has been a professor and an administrator at Georgia State University (GSU) in Atlanta as well as Director of Planning, Research and Development at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Paula previously promoted educational collaborations between GSU and higher education institutions in the Ivory Coast and Egypt.  With a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Georgia, she is a widely published author on social issues, a co-creator of user-friendly tools like the Race Matters Toolkit, and developer of research-informed materials for everyday audiences.
